Phillip D. Patterson was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1978. He grew up in Franklin, Tennessee and graduated from Battle Ground Academy. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2001 and his Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law in 2006. He was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 2006. After graduating college, Mr. Patterson worked in the office of State Senator Douglas Henry and for the Senate Finance Ways & Means Committee. During his years in law school, he served as a law clerk with Robinson, Reagan & Young, PLLC.
Mr. Patterson is a member of the Nashville Bar Association (Young Lawyers Division), Tennessee Bar Association (Young Lawyers Division) and American Bar Association. He is also a member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, the Association of Credit and Collections Professionals and ACA International. Mr. Patterson also serves as a Board member of the Davidson County Chapter of the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. His areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, collections, general civil litigation, and personal injury.
